Heather Ridgway DDS MS
Dr. Ridgway enjoys helping her patients achieve a healthy foundation to support and retain their natural teeth. As a board-certified periodontist, she specializes in treating conditions that affect the bone and gum tissues surrounding teeth. She enjoys listening to her patients and creating customized treatment plans to meet their individual needs. She has been practicing periodontics in the Middle Tennessee area since 2008.
Dr. Ridgway grew up in the Denver, Colorado area and then attended and graduated from high school overseas. After moving back to the United States, she completed her undergraduate training in Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin and then attended dental school in San Antonio, Texas. She received her DDS degree and Master of Science in Periodontology at the University of Texas Health San Antonio Dental School, graduating summa cum laude. She also completed a one year AEGD (advanced education in general dentistry) program at the VA Hospital.
Dr. Ridgway enjoys traveling, walking, cooking and spending time with her husband, their three children and 2 spunky miniature schnauzers in her free time.
